Very impressive!  Kudos to you and your students, too!  Bringing the expert into the classroom is certainly inspirational for all - increasing the level of engagement and tapping into authenticity.  

Your post also shares the fun you had with this skype call.  I was amused at the description of f2f &#039;backchanneling&#039; vis a vis the &#039;offline&#039; conversation about the author&#039;s favorite character - not only the level of communication going on, but also the realization that the &#039;minor&#039; characters are often stronger than the &#039;main&#039; characters.  And, once again, I was reminded of the vital connection between learning and emotion.

Thanks for sharing - this will be a model for me to consider in my work!</description>
