		<description>We&#039;re grappling with the exact same questions here at ISB. Students, parents and teachers are not going to use our catalogs unless they&#039;re as easy to use and as interactive as the many free options they can find online. 

A few months back I posted my &lt;a href=&quot;http://mscofino.edublogs.org/2007/12/22/a-library-catalog-wishlist/&quot; rel=&quot;nofollow&quot;&gt;library catalog wishlist&lt;/a&gt; and then attended a Follett Destiny training meeting where it was abundantly clear that unless more librarians in the US (their biggest market) start advocating for these same things, they&#039;re not going to change. 

It sounds to me like we need to start giving some consistent and thorough feedback directly to the catalog companies if we have any hope of improvement in this direction.</description>
