Coming attractions–K12 online conference

Participate in the free K12 Online Conference
The K12 Online Conference is gearing up for October.  If you haven’t participated in this in the past, it is a two week “online” conference, which you attend by viewing presentations online.  There are also live events, like a 24 hour closing Skypecast.

And to whet your appetite for what the conference is like, teaser videos by different presenters are being featured on the K12 Online Conference wiki.

All the presentations during the two week conference are presented and stored online, so you can watch them at a convenient time for you, even after the conference is over.

Here’s a sample of one teaser which got me very enthused about the conference, by Lisa Durff, for her presentation on integrating web 2.0 tools on a “shoestring.”   Other featured teasers are also excellent introductions–Dean Shareski’s on Design, Chris Harbeck on his journey as a teacher, and Silvia Tolisano on a journey to China.
